A fun-filled multi activity holiday in the Cairngorms that will certainly be a memorable one with climbing and watersports! This two day break will teach you some new skills on both rock and water, provide a good amount of challenge and show you some of Scotland’s finest scenery. It may even inspire you to pick up a new hobby! Accommodation is included in our Cairngorms Adventure Centre.

Day 1 Program
Day One takes you into the hills with an Introduction to Climbing and Abseiling at Kingussie Crag, followed by a guided walk back to Newtonmore.
Get your harness on, rope up and get climbing. This fantastic sport will challenge both your body and your mind as you pick your route up the rock. Our qualified instructors will not only ensure your safety but give you coaching tips and techniques for body movement, so you can really get the most out of your day.
Enjoy going up? How about coming down- the day will also include an exciting abseil.
Complete the day with a hillwalk to the summit of Creag Beag, with panoramic views across the Cairngorms.

Day 2 Program
On Day Two you will take to the water with a journey down the River Spey.
Get ready to splash and bounce through the waves on Duckies, which are inflatable, self-guided rafts for 2-3 people. You will learn some basic paddling skills before heading off on an adventure down the beautiful River Spey. Along the way are a number of rapids to navigate, including the iconic Grade 2 Rapid, ‘The Washing Machine’, guaranteed to get you smiling (and wet).

Accommodation
The Cairngorms Adventure Centre lies in the heart of the Highlands in the village of Newtonmore. Nestled within the Cairngorms National Park, it is the perfect location for all outdoor activities including mountain, water and snow sports. In Newtonmore are a couple of cafe’s, local pubs and restaurants to choose from. Aviemore is easily accessible with a local train, and this town can offer plenty more restaurant, bar and club options.
The Cairngorms Adventure Centre sleeps up to 77 people over two floors with dormitory style bedrooms. There is a large kitchen, cosy lounges for relaxing and lots of green space outside to enjoy the outdoors and explore.
