Active’s fleet of ex rental 15 & 16Silverbirch Broadland canoes are available periodically throughout the year. Simply select your date of collection on the calendar and which canoe you wish from the drop down menu. You can then collect it from our Centre in The Cairngorms National Park, Scotland. Buoyancy aids and paddles may be available on request, please ask if you are interested.
Second Hand Canoes For Sale in Aviemore, the Cairngorms & Scotland
Second Hand Canoes in Scotland for sale from the Aviemore & the Cairngorms area – we regularly replace our Canoes every season or two at most and as such sell them on when we do so. We recommend that you come and have a look at the Canoes before buying; so you are happy with them. We do not include paddles in the sale. These may be available on request.
Collection of second hand canoes in Aviemore & the Cairngorms area is from the Cairngorms Adventure Centre in Newtonmore (the very centre of Scotland) (PH20 1AT). Our standard office hours at 9am – 6pm. Currently we are selling off both 15ft and 16ft Silverbirch Broadland Canoes in green and red colours. These can be collected covid restrictions allowing, but can be paid for online already simply by selecting a collection date and we are more than happy to store them until that time.
Canoe paddles and bouyancy aids may be available at £25.00 each if this is of interest then please contact us via phone or email.

All of our Second Hand canoes for sale are currently Silverbirch Broadland canoes – they are all plastic and highly durable canoes. Silverbirch canoes are up there as some of the best being made and handle like a dream. These boats are all 1-2 years only only and are in very good condition with only minor wear as to be expected from standard use.
Currently all our second hand canoes for sale in Aviemore & the Cairngorms are labelled our below where you can see photos of each respectively. If you want further information then please drop us an email. All canoes come with buoyancy blocks which are laced in and outfitting which include two seats, a yoke and handles.
If you want to try the second hand canoes in Scotland in the Aviemore & the Cairngorms area before buying then, then we do have equipment rental which is bookable on the website as well.
If the dates are not available on the calendar then this will be due to bookings of activities or rental. If you are looking for collection dates which do not come up, then we recommend that you ring or email us. We may be able to sell them regardless, but would need to confirm with our suppliers prior that we could obtain replacements for the activities which are already booked in.
