Active Outdoor Pursuits provide adventure activity days and events suitable for all ages and abilities from our three outdoor centres in Scotland. We offer the most extensive range of adventure sports and training in the country in the water, on the rock and on the snow.

Our main base is the Cairngorms Adventure Centre in the Highland village of Newtonmore near Aviemore. The area has stunning views of the Cairngorm Mountains and is set next to the famous River Spey. From our Centre we run all the activities on our website. From here you have easy access to the hills, rivers and ski resorts to enjoy a multitude of sports. We also have two other bases in the Great Glen based on the shores of Loch Oich at the Great Glen Waterpark. And we have a base down in Ayrshire where we run activities from and around Craigengillan estate.
In summer our more popular adventure activities are water based like white water rafting and canyoning. In winter they are skiing and snowboarding. Check out our Facebook to see what we have been up to recently.
