Pick up for activity is from Spey Valley Golf & Country Club (10am) & Lochanhully (9.30am) resort receptions.  All technical & safety equipment is provided. Our guides will select the most suitable river on the day.

Canyoning Cairngorms

Canyoning involves jumping off 5 – 25 foot cliffs into deep pools, sliding down naturally formed rock flumes and abseiling down waterfalls and deep gorges. You will get wet, you will get cold but you’ll have one of the most amazing adventures of your life!

Equipped with the appropriate safety equipment and supervised by our expert guides you will love this exhilarating sport. The canyons in the Aviemore & Cairngorms area have a combination of water and rock features and are amongst the finest in Scotland.


Venue Days Times Activity Description
Allt Na h Uamha Monday Wednesday Sunday 9.30am-3.30pm Best suited to adults groups and confident children aged 12+. A fantastic experience with water chutes, high speed slides and flumes with the final challenge to abseil down a 60ft waterfall.
Trium Falls Monday Wednesday Sunday 9.30am-3.30pm A fast flowing river with a series of small drops & chutes with steep rock walls. It has a variety of jumps from 5 – 25 feet and lends itself perfectly to an amazing rope crossing by Tyrolean traverse or zip line. Suitable for children aged 7+
Bruar Falls Friday 9.30am-3.30pm

This steep canyon has been carved from the rock over millions of years. Featuring naturally formed slide chutes, 40 ft jumps, abseils and a natural rock arch to negotiate – This is a challenging canyoning experience for the adventurous.

This activity is best suited to adults groups and confident youths aged 12+.
