Mini RaftingMini Rafting in the Great Glen is great fun for everyone. Families and young people can enjoy the bounce and splash offered on grade 2 river trips. Although, adult groups such as stag and hen parties may well decide to opt for the more exhilarating experience on the River Garry or the River Orchy.Mini rafting in the Great Glen is especially suitable for small groups of people and when the river levels are lower as it can be more bouncy and playful than a larger raft. This means a more enjoyable and potentially exciting experience descending the white water.Mini Rafting is an all year round activity. River conditions can vary with the seasons, although the Garry is Dam release and runs twice a week. For instance, the conditions are generally pleasant in Summer and have warmer temperatures. Whereas, the higher water levels are normally during the Spring/Autumn due to more rainfall or snow-melt.Mini Rafting is almost identical to White Water rafting, the only difference is it is a much smaller craft – perfect for families or small groups.
