Duke of Edinburgh Award – Gold Programme

SchoolsFor most people the completion of their Gold Expedition is the high point of their whole DofE experience. It is evidence that you are a competent person who has developed skills and knowledge that enable you to journey safely into wild places.
In order to complete the Gold Expedition section you first need to complete a programme of training followed by a suitable practice expedition to develop your skills. Available activities for the training programmes are Canoe, Mountain Bike, Sea Kayaking & Walking. On completion of your practice journey you need to plan and undertake a 4 day qualifying expedition.
