Journeys by Open Canoe are one of the most enjoyable and satisfying ways of discovering the wild places.
We have put together a collection of Scotland’s finest canoe journeys. These inspiring journeys will take you to Scotland’s most beautiful and remote places, places steeped in history & folklore, misty glens surrounded by steep mountains and wildlife that will amaze you. Most of our trips are suitable for all ages and abilities including experienced paddlers who will delight in many of the trips that venture into very remote places with open waters and strenuous portages.
Typically, our canoe journey’s are about exploration of our surroundings, after a day on the water we will set up camp or relax in your hotel. The afternoons or evenings can be as energetic or as laid back as you wish, stroll along the beach or tackle a nearby mountain, visit the local village (when there is one!), or enjoy a brew around the camp fire...you choose! We are happy to arrange private trips on any of our journeys on dates to suit you.
