River Spey

Rising at over 1000 feet at Loch Spey near the famous Corrieyairack pass in the Scottish Highlands the Spey descends to flow through Newtonmore crossing Loch Insh before reaching Aviemore. From there it flows the remaining 60 miles north-east to the Moray Firth.

White water rafting on the River Spey is on the fast flowing stretches between Grantown on Spey and Aberlour. These stretches provide fun grade 2+ rapids including the famous "washing machine rapid" The Rafting on the Spey is suitable for families and younger people however adults will still have a ball on our mini rafts or Duckies.
