Active Outdoor Pursuits is a Scottish based company formed in 1999. We provide outdoor activity days, holidays and training courses to suit individuals and groups of all levels of ability and aspiration, so if you have a passion for outdoor adventures we will be privileged to guide you on your journey.

Sharing our love of the outdoors is what we are about and personal development is fundamental in active’s philosophy. We continually witness the personal and social benefits experienced by people of all ages and diverse backgrounds participating in adventure activities. Our instructors aim to maximise learning opportunities in a safe and supportive environment.

At active we are committed to creating a truly memorable and positive outdoor experience for all clients. We are acutely aware that everyone has different learning styles, comfort zones and physical capacity, we are committed to structuring all activities at a level which provides challenge yet allows all participants to taste the exhilaration of success.
We pride ourselves in our ability to respond to client needs in the provision of courses that are unique to each group’s requirements.

Locations

From our centres in the Highlands and Ayrshire active offer an extensive range of Watersports, Mountainsports and snowsports throughout Scotland.
We also offer a mobile adventure service to groups, where we provide activities at venues almost anywhere in the UK.

Transport

With our fleet of modern comfortable minibuses active offer transport to groups on activity days and courses at Craigower Lodge or any other centres we use.
Often we can arrange to collect groups from Hotels, offices, airports etc….
